This is the official web site for Guildford based singer songwriter, guitarist and actor GAVIN THOMAS. Follow the links at the top of this page to find information about his gigs and where and when to find his acoustic request nights. There's a diary page, a list of some of the songs from his repertoire, and a photo gallery, as well as links to all of the local venues that host GAVIN AND HIS GUITAR gigs. You can catch up with his Facebook and Twitter feeds on the social media page, and join the mailing list to receive regular gig updates. Four of Gavin's original songs are available on the Soundcloud page, along with some archive videos from his performances at Guilfest.

We can also confirm that Gavin is still playing online gigs every Tuesday night from 20.00 GMT, and these are streamed live on Gavin’s Facebook page. Please see the SUMMER HOUSE page for more information.

The links along the bottom of the page include information about the live events, showcases and festivals that Gavin organises under the banner of GT Live Sessions.

THE MAYOR’S AWARD FOR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

We are very proud to report that in May of 2024 Gavin Thomas was presented with the Mayor's Award for Service To The Community. The citation acknowledges the community of musicians created by the GT Live Sessions; the support for local musicians through the GT Showcase nights, the charities supported by the One Winter's Night concerts and One Spring Afternoon festivals, the three decades of Gavin & his Guitar gigs, and the online community created through the resilience of the Songs From The Summer House gigs - from the days of lockdown and still running today.
